Our History
Founder and Managing Director Chris initially started Constructive Driveways Ltd and Paving Shield after his own experiences within the paving restoration industry. He shared the same experiences as you and I, the frustrations of weeds, algae, lichen and the constant need of attention, made him realise that there must be a solution to paving problems. After speaking with numerous so-called "hard landscaping and cleaning experts" in regards to maintenance solutions he was still no nearer to solving this problem.
Chris started out with 2500 leaflets and a commitment to create a customer-focused business. He understood that the general installation and treatment standards within this sector of the industry were often substandard. He set out to make a substantial improvement to the quality of service that people receive and should come to expect when they employ the skills of a paving restorer.
The response has been fantastic. Daily our business attracts many new customers, all of whom are looking for that 'Paving Shield' touch! Its an interesting fact that approximately Sixty percent of the work completed by Paving Shield comes from client recommendation, this is quite a rare achievement in the paving industry.
